Can anyone recommend cool Paris lounges or bars? I am interested in NYC style venues along the lines of Aer, Bungalow 8, etc. Any help would be much appreciated.

Brockbank, I don't know from 10 years ago, but if they bring you any ice, it will be just a couple of cubes in a tall glass, lol. (even if you say 'beaucoup'). If you're dying for it, you can always pop into one of the forbidden fast-food places, or get one of those frozen coffee concoctions at (whisper)StarBucks.

I knew a guy who tried to pick up a woman at the Ice Kube Bar. Sadly, all he got was a cold shoulder.
