Just returned from my first trip to Paris and of course didn't do a fraction of what you managed. Loved your report and collage!
We had a hotel, Le Senat, 10 Rue de Vaugirard, opposite the Luxemburg Gardens...quiet, small but excellent location and good service.I spent masses of time in the gardens and took lots of photos. The Musee du Cluny was also nearby and we spent a whole afternoon there.Easy location to walk to the Seine and explore surrounding area.
Thanks for your exciting report.

This is one of the better reports that I've read. Thanks! Good detail and some nice ideas for add-ons to any trip there. And the photos...really great. I especially like the Seine/bridges collage.

Photos are wonderful and I appreciate the restaurant reviews. We leave in December and we are always looking for great places. I also was glad to hear the rave for the Grand Epicerie...I have never made it there on previous trips and determined to do so this time.

I do wonder who makes the selections of the products displayed in the "exotic foods from foreign lands" section of Le Grand Epicerie. Is one of the most distinctive products of the United States really.....Marshmallow Fluff? They always seem to have it in stock!
