Paris -- Is Metro Chemin Vert Open Yet?

Our apartment is very close to Chemin Vert and a friend who stayed nearby in October, said that the stop was closed for remodelling. I know that Bastille and Republique are only a few blocks away, but because of possible bad weather over the Holiday period, I was wondering if it has reopened. (obviously we are not there yet ... five more days).

Maybe someone in Paris can respond with first hand info, but the RATP site reports the scheduled closure dates for Chemin Vert as 9 October through 19 December. Of course, that was the planned schedule and reality may vary. http://www.ratp.info/orienter/travaux_ratp.php
On what street is your apartment located? Saint-Sebastian-Froissart may be closer than Republique.

Thanks, a few extra blocks won't hurt at all. It can help to walk off the pastries.

Another station, Abbesses, was supposed to reopen on December 12th, for example, and opened a few days late. But it is absolutely not finished yet because there is no tile on the walls!

Hi Nina,
My daughter is attending a school quite near to Vert Bois, so I am looking for an apartment in that neighbourhood when I visit for a month in April. I would really appreciate it if you would share information about your apartment when you return. Hope you have a great time.

Hi Nina,
It's me, Andrea. I took the metro from Chemin Vert this evening, so yes, it is open! See you Saturday!
