Dinner at Bistro Henri which was recommended by TPAYT trip report. in
The lamb shank at Bistro Henri. Yum!
Dinner at Fish La Boisenrie in St Germain
Snow flurries while waiting for the restaurant to open. Food was incredible.
Dinner next door to our apartment at Le Cabeau du Palais
We had a table next to the window on the night we arrived. Devi did not sit outside!

ta3153, I'm so glad you saw this and took the time to reply. Thank you for the photos and details! I was in Paris at the beginning of January many years ago and it was very cold then too. It really makes a difference. Your information is very helpful, especially the restaurant info. And I love the photo at the end. You both look great and very Parisian!

Great photos and wrap-up, thank you! Now the real question: how many layers (and of what fabric type) was your husband wearing that night standing outside Bistro Henri and was he not too, too cold?

For people who prefer to walk around and browse the special of the day on the restaurant slates without making reservations, here is a new collection from this year:

Leely2, DH had 3 layers, smart wool socks plus a buff that he pulled over his nose while walking. I’m wearing 4 layers including cashmere turtleneck, down vest and down coat. Plus fur hat and scarf. Actually pretty comfortable except for my hands even wearing cashmere lined gloves.
