Even with that bit of information, I would want to know the exact width if queen vs. double is an important selling point.

Thanks for clarifying the source of your statement. It seems odd that they interpret their 140 cm beds as "queen"; I wonder what they consider a "double bed"? The (now rare) so-called "French bed", which was generally about 120 cm, and sometimes called "a bed and a half"? Or maybe they thought that by your asking the specific contrast of "queen" versus "double", they were clarifying that they do _not_ offer the "two-twins-pushed-together" that sometimes is called "double" in Europe(identical to a "king" at 180 cm, since each twin is 90 cm).

I wonder what they mean on their website when they say "A king sized bed in some rooms"? Are those 160? or a "true" (conventional) 180 cm (single mattress) king, as in the US? In any event, it seems to contradict their statement that all double rooms have queen beds (perhaps they consider their superior double as something distinct and different from their "double" rooms!)

Hotel de Fleurie (6th) shows room rates for large bed, queen bed and king-or-twins room.

Hotel le Senat (6th) reports their rooms have Queen beds, 160cm.
