Paris Hotels help
We are leaving soon - 9 days, and I still have not decided on a hotel. We are spending 3 nights in Paris, then going to Italy and will leave from Paris on the 20th. We have been to Paris often, but I have yet to fall in love with a hotel.
This is for DH and myself. We would like a room with a tub, near a metro, and it really needs to be a no-smoking room. Under $300, and closer to 250 would be good. I was going to use AMX points and get a fancy hotel, but I keep dithering and have yet to do anything!
I just looked at the Hotel de Varenne from an earlier post, but its booked.

Check www.hotel-paris.fr/en/ and see what you can find. I got a great deal last spring at Hotel Opal on Rue Tronchet near Madeleine. There is also venere.com for a search. I would get something booked as quickly as possible as it's very busy in Paris in early October. Good luck!

Thanks for the replys.
I finally called AMX, and was able to get a room with points. Not my first choice of hotel (Hotel Du Louver)but Im sure it will be fine, and maybe some day I will learn not to procrastinate.
