Paris Hotels
I am looking for opinions on either the Regent's Hotel (6e) on Rue Madame close to St. Sulpice or Hotel Muguet (7e).... I have read several comments on the latter but have found non on the former.... I will be in Paris with my 75yr old mother and my 14yr old son.......

I'm not sure how you are looking, but that hotel has been mentioned numerous times on this forum, including some comments, as well as other info. All you have to do is type "regents" into the search box and select "france" as the country and you will find quiet a few, as I just did it. Some of them refer to a different Regents in Paris, but there aren't that many to sift through.
I have no personal experience with it, but like the location and have only read good things about it.

We just returned from Paris two weeks ago. We stayed in the Muguet for eight nights. Our room was very quiet, clean, and pleasant. It was even a little larger than I was expecting, since I had heard how small the rooms were at this establishment. (I guess we were lucky.) The bathroom, which had a tub, was also a decent size.
The woman who "greeted" us upon check in was a bit surly, but the rest of the staff was nice enough. We didn't take breakfast, so I can't comment on that.
We thought this hotel was a good value, and would absolutely stay there again.
