Paris hotel splurge

I have Parkinson’s, a degenerative though probably not fatal chronic disease. My ability to walk for hours, especially in Paris, is a thing of the past. On a really good day i might manage an hour. On others I’m done after ten minutes. So this might be my sixth and last trip to my favorite city. I’m planning to splurge on a hotel for five nights and to spend around $500-$999 ( my cute way of saying under $1000) per night. I’m looking left bank. more boutique than grand hotel. One possibility: relais christine. Other suggestions?

The Hotel Luxembourg Parc. We stayed in their suite for 10 days last month. Bus stops are close by. We paid about 470 euros per night, including breakfast.

We had originally planned to stay in an executive double for 300 euros a night but since their suite was available, we gave ourselves an upgrade

Weissertree,

Years ago, under a different screen name, you recommended the Luxembourg Parc. Best advice ever! Great place. Also I would suggest the Hotel de l’Abbaye just a few blocks away.

I am going to stay in a left bank boutique hotel in June called Hotel Recamier, it's well within your budget and looks very nice. It's very close to Saint Sulpice church.
If you want to really splash out take a look at JKPlace, also on the left bank closer to the river. Depending on when you are going and what sort of room you require you just may find something just at the top end of your budget and that would be a real spoiling place to stay. I stayed at their location in Florence a couple of times before it was sold and it was fantastic.

Oui, oui:

We spent a week at JK Place in Rome a few years ago. Astounding! Likely over $1,000 but who knows......I imagine their Paris outpost is equally fabulous.
