Paris Hotel - Hotel Brighton or Relais du Louvre?

My husband and I will be travelling to France (specifically Provence & the French Riveria) this Sept. We are going to end our trip in Paris. After some thorough research, many e-mail exchanges, and with the fashion-shows going-on in Paris in Sept, I have managed to secure reservations for Hotel Brighton (with Tuileries view, which is about 10 EURO more expensive) and Relais du Louvre (with church view). Can anyone please advise which of these hotels are better? We are looking for a bright, clean, and comfortable hotel, with convenient location from the main attractions.

This thread has some discussion on the Relais du Louvre (and can't be found by a search). If you do a search on Brighton, you should find a little info.

We stayed at the Relais du Louvre last year and will stay again there this September, too. The hotel is centrally located to everything. The staff were really nice and helpful. Rooms were clean, charming and comfortable. The elevator was really tiny if you have a lot of suitcases - we sent our suitcases up the elevator by themselves while my husband was waiting at the top floor : )
My friend and I will be staying there Sept. 15th-17th so maybe we'll see you there! Have fun - you'll LOVE Provence, too! Be sure to hit some of the markets.

We've stayed at Relais du Louvre 4 or 5 times in the past. It's a great central location between two metro stops, the staff is very helpful, and we've always found it comfortable. Some of the rooms are very small however.
