Paris Hotel for week leading to New Year's Eve

Hi,
My family and I (5 total, including 3 college "kids&quot will be in Paris Dec 26-Jan 1. I need to find a hotel that will accomodate all of us...preferably in same room, but I realize that may not be possible. I'd like a place that isn't too pricey, and hopefully serves breakfast. The main thing is location, safety, cleanliness.
Any suggestions?

Why don't you rent an apartment for that period of time? There are many reputable agencies, i.e, RentParis.com,vrbo, etc.

I've suggested this place before, but only know of it from guidebooks. It would serve your purpose well, though, it seems:

Dear Lly01,

Maybe you can try to look at the Hotel de l'Exposition, a 2 star hotel near Republique. I'm sure they have quadruple rooms so maybe you can try to see if they can put another bed for the 5th person...Who knows maybe it is possible! I give you their website in order that you can look at this hotel, their prices, the location and so on..www.hotel-exposition.com! I hope you xill find a solution!! Enjoy your trip in Paris!!!

I really like Hotel du Lys for a reasonably priced, well very located hotel in the 6th, on a quiet street yet only 2 minutes walk to lots of activity! They have triples-- and doubles, of course. Breakfast is included in the price, which is 110 E for a double. It has lots of charm; the bldg. dates from the 17th century and has an ancient winding staircase--no elevator, but that should be no problem for college-age "kids"! I still stay there! www.hoteldulys.com
Your trip sounds wonderful!

Hi lly01,

Have you looked into the Novotel Hotel chain? They have some larger rooms and they are offering a holiday rate.
