PARIS hotel for large family

Sorry about the previous message and "paris" spelling. We are looking for accomodations for 6 to do the usual paris touring in May. Any ideas? Thanks.

I think in a typical hotel, you'd need at least 2 rooms. You may want to look into apartment rentals.

Assuming I want to stay in a hotel-are there any recommendations for hotels that have fairly large rooms-perhaps a suite where there is a living area separated by a sleeping area-maybe a pull-out sofa? We are looking to be in an area where it is convenient to do the first time tourist things. A moderate to higher place would be appropriate. Thanks.

Some hotels have what they call family rooms. They are generally rooms for 4. Most of the smaller European type hotels may only have 1 or 2 such rooms. Sometimes these are suites, and sometimes just 1 large room. FOr 6, you may need a quad and a double, or possibly 2 triples.

There are several good areas to stay in. Paris is large but does have a decent mass-transit system to get you around.

If you provide a budget, many of the knowledgable people here, I'm sure can make suggestions with in your range. You should then email the hotels that interest you and ask what kind of accommodations they may have for a family of 6.
