Paris hotel booking ,On-line or direct

I was wondering if I should call the hotel I am interested in staying at directly or book it online through a reservation service?
I am interested in the Grand Hotel Jeanne D' Arc at 3 Rue Jarente in Paris.
Thanks

Mike -

See you own thread that I just topped for you. This hotel is small and very popular, so if you want to stay there, book already.

Always try to book directly with the hotel. Dealing directly you can ask specific questions and make requests.

Call the hotel directly. Then you can discuss exactly what you want. The French just don't do all that well with the internet and faxes, yet. Ask them to fax you a confirmation if you book, and bring that with you as proof in case there should be a problem.
