Is anyone interested in meeting for drink or food? Or < a GTG for lovers of Chinese/Vietnamese, Indian or Japanese food, just to name the most common kinds>? kerouac, that's for you.
We have evening plans for Tues 10/4. We will be in the fifth but will travel.

Miki...if the GTG is before the 5th, maybe the four of us can meet for a drink and a hello on the night of the 5th before you leave...I think we are staying nearby one another. Abby has my e-mail if you would like it.
I'll keep watching for dates.....

Hello
May I propose some restaurants ?
How many will we be ?
I have several choices (please check on whatever site, I have been there and like those)
in the 18th :
Atelier Ramey Ramey 18e Château rouge
... trendy, excellent wine, menu only but with flexibility. Around 40 € if you don't exxageerate on wine.
Illios Ramey ? 18e Poissonniers
... I found the cuisine a notch above average, white napkins, the 'chef au fourneau' and nice. also around 40 €.
Sacréee fleur Clignancourt 18e Château rouge
... the best meat in town. fantastic T-bones (côtes à l'os), also around 40 €, more if you take the côte for 2 or 3 people
In the 5th
Estrapade Estrapade, 15 5e Panthéon
... very small, very french, very good. About 40€ too.
Forget if we are more than 6.
Saigon Panthéon Descartes 5e
... a vietnamese (who would have guessed) run by the family. Service could be improved, I don't see how to improve a cuisine 'typically done by the mother and served by the son'.
Close to rue Mouffetard.
Any other proposal welcome obviously.
I can do the booking. I speak french (I know, difficult to understand when one reads my magnificient english ;-) )
I'll be landing at CDG around 7 pm, so I'll probably reach any restaurant around 8 pm (min) or more likely 8 30 pm.
Mvg.

I just saw this. Did send an email. Hope it's not too late to reserve or to make the plan. Estrapade or Saigon Pantheon? Your choice. 8:30 is fine. My email is themikster 70 @ hotmail. Three or five depending if traviata and husband are coming.
