Paris gives itself futuristic transplant

This is an article in todays New York Times but I went on line and couldn't find the link.
I'd like to see that bridge, The Passerelle Simone Beauvoir.

Thanks Rob. The picture in the times is clearer and closer to it. It's actually in tomorrows paper but with home delivery, we get it today, so maybe it hadn't been posted on line yet( early morn.)

I was on it on Tuesday, and the passerelle Simone de Beauvoir is becoming a major Parisian picnic spot at sunset -- much more spacious than the passerelle des Arts.

It's worth the trip also to see the Biblioteque Francois Mitterrand - the buildings are much larger than you would imagine from the photos.

And, right across the river is Parc de Bercy and Cour Saint-Emilion and Bercy Village - a new and beautiful complex of shops, restaurants, cafes.
