Hi Mabel:<BR>Just back from a long weekend in Paris. What I noticed above all: The women wear very high heels. Just wondering how the manage to walk. Obviously they walk less than we do when we visit Paris. Also noticed a lot of Prada and Hogan style walking shoes (those baseball style ones). Very comfortable.<BR>Anyway, weather was too chilly and wet for capri pants. In my opinion, zip off pants are typically for holidays. I noticed some in Paris, but definitely worn by foreign tourists.<BR>Still a lot of black around, scarfes and large cashmere shawls. A lot of stretch clothes. Only nice on very slim women though.<BR>

Fashion in Paris - it all depends on your style. When it comes to clothes we make up our own fashion by mixing and matching. Try these sites and see what we have for Spring/Summer but always remember the key is to match the right colours: <BR><BR>http://www.goodvibes.fr/html/frameset_accueil.htm<BR>http://www.caroll.com/fr/univers/index_semaine.asp<BR>http://www.episode.fr/episo.htm<BR>http://www.morgan.fr/<BR>http://www.kookai.fr/<BR>

If you search this forum, there are any number of similar queries. That said, having just returned from Paris, I was surprised by the number of French women wearing jeans (tight jeans, at that). If you regularly read this forum, you would think no one in Paris would be caught dead in jeans, yet there they were. The younger Parisians (sp?) wore jeans that were decorated by fading or bleaching.

Zip off pants? Who other than American tourists wears those hideous zip off pants? French women are stylish, whether in their jeans or suits. Nerdy campers wear zip off pants to go with their Teva sandals and fanny packs, two more items you won't see French women using.
