Paris - Especially Cold Winter
My French son just returned from a fortnight in Paris area and said how cold it was - for Paris
and that his family were all talking about how cold this winter has been
Today in paper hi 37 and low 28 and themps i believe have been about that for some weeks
That's cold for Paris so bundle up in going this winter
However normal temps are due one would think to return - about 10 degrees higher i would think

Norween - Are you measuring in C or F?
According to http://www.weatherbase.com/weather/w...170&refer=, the average low temp for Paris in Dec is 36 F.

I was in Paris two weeks ago. For a couple of days, it was cold (below freezing) but very sunny. But it was quite mild the day I left--about 9 C, and still sunny, so it felt downright balmy.
The 19th and 20th were the two coldest days. I went up to Brussels on the 19th and it was equally chilly, but I wish I'd gone on the 20th instead--they had snow flurries in Brussels that day. It would have been nice to have seen a bit of snow.

Here in Holland we had a cold snap before Christmas with temperatures staying below freezing during the day. It was cold enough for skating on the canals and lakes.
It was relatively warm over Christmas and New Year (6 degrees) - though it was very misty in the east of the country on NYE. The fog was so thick you culdn't see 1m in front of you, and people had to abandon their cars.
Today it is 0 again, tomorrow colder with a serious windchill.
It has been a few years since we had cold weather, certainly in December, but it's great! It warms up again at the weekend though
