Paris concert tix via internet?

I was wondering if anyone has purchased concert or ballet tickets for Paris on the internet? the following website offers tickets for both events: http://www.ticketavenue.com/

Is it better to wait and purchase the tickets once I'm in Paris? Or should I pay extra and get the tickets now? Is it hard to get tickets in Paris? Any advice would really be appreciated.

Thanks!

For a concert at Ste. Chapelle, I reserved over Internet, but bought at the door in terms of money changing hands.
For the Opera Bastille, I ended up asking a friend to call. I got the tickets fine, but Internet purchasing did not seem to easy to accomplish.

The site you mention is one I looked at, but did not use.

I got trigger happy. My approach to tickets for something in Paris I really want to hear and/or see is to get the tickets in hand. Compared with the total cost of going to Paris and staying there for several days, paying an extra $2 to $5 for a service charge is assurance that I will enjoy my trip.
(If I don't have attractions lined up to see, I can stay home considerably cheaper!!)
If I am ambivilant about it, then I say ho hum and wait until I get there.
Last year I wanted to hear/see Turandot, particularly to hear Jane Eaglen and Franco Ferrera sing. So I took the steps to get the tickets. This year, nothing was on in early September that I really wanted to hear, so I waited for Vienna and Salzburg. The danger is that if you want to be there, so do lots of other people!!

I used the Ticket Avenue site to procure tickets to several events in Paris last summer. I believe for the ballet I received a voucher and picked up my tickets at Will Call. I was a bit nervous about ordering tickets that way,but it worked out great and our seats were better than I expected them to be.

Used ticketavenue for the Bob Dylan concert in Paris. They tried to deliver the ticket to my landlord (I was arriving in Paris in a week), and they couldn't reach him. Several emails, more tries...I finally went to their office in the 15eme and picked up the ticket. They tried VERY hard to deliver the ticket, kept in touch via email, and eventually called me in Paris when I arrived to figure out what to do. Would use them again in a New York minute...

And I am glad I bought the ticket ahead; sold out concert. Ditto ballet, opera, etc. Buy ahead if you are SURE you will attend; otherwise, there are soooo many concerts, performances, etc. outside the big venues that you won't be without something to do in the evening.
