Paris Brocantes

Hi,
I started doing some serious research in July for a Paris trip next month. Got so burned out and overwhelmed that I put it aside until now. There is a woman who had information about the Brocantes in Paris. I thought I bookmarked it but now it's not there. HELP - if you're out there, please let me know what the best link is for Brocantes in October. Or anybody else.

Thanks.

This site is in French:

http://www.spam.fr/ (yes, spam is an acromym!)

Click on Brocantes and there is a listing by date. They are also listed in the weekly "Officiel des Spectacles" on sale at any newstand.

you can google Paris Brocantes and there's lots of them listed in different parts of Paris. The office of Tourism will have some listings.

Is this the thread? http://www.fodors.com/community/euro...522-and-23.cfm

If not -- just use the advance search function -- it really does work.

The very best brocante is held by the Joel Garcia assoc. at Bastille in May an November. Go to his site and sign up for free tickets. They also do the huge fair at Chatou

Be sure to check the weekly newspaper as noted above. I've had the most luck at the little brocantes in squares various places.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!

You have all given me what I was looking for.
Will look up the above and buy the newspaper when there.
Janisj - you found the right thread but now that I have the above - I don't think I will need it.

Thanks again. I live in NYC and the good flea markets are gone - sacrificed to tall glass towers with exhorbitant rents!!! Am in withdrawal pain.
