Paris, Belgium Itinerary - Last Minute Advice?

I'm with who ever said to skip Le Pain...don't do chains when you can get the best food.
I would stay in Paris instead of Metz.
We were just there and I did just fine with a great cashmere scarf, gloves a hat and my North Face "Janey" boots. They are waterproof and have great traction...and still are cute enough to wear with a skirt. I also wore a base layer top under my sweater on most days and that helped.
I took "hot hands" with me but never used them.

I'm happy to see that you had a good time and I'm looking forward to your trip report. I imagine you did have some troubles with the snow. The weather was exceptional and turned really bad a couple of days before your arrival. Now everything has turned back to normal here in Belgium: chilly and wet...
