Paris ATMs

I'm sorry for asking this yet again!! The older thread are long and confusing!

I have an ATM debit card with my brokerage firm (Schwab). It has a 4-digit pin. Will that work in Paris ATMs?

Thanks!

Moonstone, I always bring two ATM debit cards. I have to admit that my Schwab card has occasionally not worked. My WellsFargo card has always worked.

I have used both Schwab and Smith Barney in Paris without a hitch.

YMMV

Hi M,

A 4-digit PIN is fine.

Some people have reported glitches with PINs that begin with 0 (zero).

No problems with a 4 digit pin that starts with a zero.

Thank you all very much for the replies. We'll take a couple of cards since my card does indeed begin with a zero.

Always something...

I wouldn't discount the card that begins with "zero" as most recent reports indicate that it will work.

An option would be to have the pin # changed if you are uncomfortable with the PIN number.
