Forgot to mention, the apt was right on the border of the 6th/14th arr. 14th is a lovely arr.

About 6 months before my cuisine with his wife rented http://www.lodjee.com/chabanais-terr...aris-apartment and they had great reviews about the apartment as it was really private and comfortable within low budget. It was in area 2 I guess. As far as the metro is considered I don't remember that they mentioned of any metro station there as they preferred taxi there. So this you have to search on your own either to the site or by contacting the officials there at the apartment. Although I find that most of your needs are about to get fulfilled here.
