Hi...we were planning a trip to Paris. We reach on 9th October at 10am and plan to take a train to Amsterdam on 11th October. Can u pls suggest which hotel we should go for which makes our travelling easier by public transport and how we can utilize our days in the best way.

well we might need to know
who you are, 2 or 200 people?
what do you like to do, for some Paris is about museums, for others it is catacomb visiting, for others restaurants etc etc?
how much do you expect to pay for a hotel room?
when you say 10am in Paris do you mean at the airport or at a railway station, and which one?
The train goes from Gard du Nord, not a bad place but not really where most people want to stay. Are you leaving at a very early time? Have you found the Metro system yet? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris_M%C3%A9tro

Take the RER B train from CDG airport - either from station CDG 2 (serving terminal 2) or from station CDG 1 (serving terminals 1 and 3) depending where you come in. If you pick an express the first stop will be Gare du Nord, your departure station two days later. The fare is 10 Euros, it takes a half hour.
As to which of the several hotels to pick that all are right across from the Gare du Nord station is hard to say - what's your budget, what are your needs and preferences?
I suggest you go to Google maps, input Gare du Nord Paris, zoom in until all the business names appear, and look at the hotels: Terminus, Kyriad, Ibis, Paris Liège, Picardy, Ibis Styles, Métropol, and more, all in walking distance.
Google each hotel and see what the website says.
There is no shortage of Metro lines and bus lines that converge at the Gare du Nord, so while it is not necessarily the most tourist-desired location, for you it will be just fine. Everything is just a few steps away, including a Carrefour (grocery store) and plenty of eateries.

As for those Thalys trains to Amsterdam (the only ones that go direct), they have a complex fare structure - prices rising in tiers as time goes by and the cheaper seats are sold out, etc.
Book ASAP and get fares as low as 39euros (vs full fare of maybe 200 euros?) - www.thalys.com is the official site and easy to book on yourself -check first class for discounted tickets too -sometimes not much more and then you get a meal included.
For lots on train check www.seat61.com -great info on discounted tickets; and for general info on European trains check www.budgeteuropetravel.com and www.ricksteves.com.
Yes trains leave from Gare du Nord so a hotel like whathello suggests would be handy dandy - also where the RER train from CDG airport comes in - making everything so so simple baggage wise. Try to get a room not facing the busy streets in this area.
