Overnight not too far from VCE ?

Hi !

Our flight leave Venise at 13:30. We are looking a place to spend the afternoon and evening the day before our departure. We will have seen Venice at the begin of our trip. We already been to Padova last year.

We have thought that Treviso could be good but maybe its too big for the time we got. Any idea of a nice place where we can get a last meal in Italy ?

Thanks !

Which direction are you coming from? Will you have a car?

According to another thread, Tostaky will leave Bolzano/Bozen by car, the morning previous to the day of departure from VCE.

Padua was my first thought, as I was there for several days and loved it, but you have been before.

Would Vicenza work for you? Beautiful town, significant Palladio villas. It is about 55 minutes drive to Venice airport.

We loved Treviso (were there for 7 weeks) but realize that one of the things we liked the best was that it was so convenient to many, many other towns. The city itself was great; with 3 rivers running through it With such a short time, bet you could explore the city. Another thought could be Verona (yes, Romeo & Juliet). The have a wonderful music scene there.
