Overambitious Itenerary?

Hello all:

I have a total of 7 days arriving in Madrid and then ending up in Granada. I might have an overambitious itenerary and am hoping for insight from other travellers as to what to "cut" from my trip.

My "would like to" list includes:

Madrid, Sevilla, Cadiz, Malaga, Granada.

Should I drop one of these locations and add another? Which of these is most worthy of my time in Spain? Which isn't?
Thanks to all.

I would drop Cadiz and Malaga and maybe add a day trip to Toledo from Madrid.

I would drop Cadiz and Malaga and not add anything else. . . with 7 days you will have your hands full with the 3 other cities you mention.

Yeh Malaga and Cadiz can be cut without missing much - a day trip to Toledo could be the highlight of your trip!

I agree with everyone else in dropping Cadiz and Malaga, but may I propose adding Cordoba to the list? It is on the way to Sevilla and is worth at least a day trip.

Buen viaje!

Re Fresco's suggestion of adding Cordoba: If you are traveling by AVE, consider getting off in Cordoba, storing luggage at the station [lockers], ducking into town to catch the Mezquita, then back to the station for the trip to Sevilla. You can essentially get the Mezquita, [which is remarkable and the really only unique thing about Cordoba] for nothing in terms of time consumed.
