There will also be a Christmas Market in Tivoli. It was very pretty there with all the Christmas lights and decorations. Fun little shops. Lots of families out and about...very fun and another great people watching place. And they have warm drinks..very tasty..one will taste like you have to have another but be careful..they pack a whollop for sure!!! LOL

Thanks, one of the reasons we're visiting Copenhagen is for the Tivoli Christmas Market! I love Christmas Markets. Oooh, that drink must be very similar to what we had in Vienna last Christmas...very nice!

Reporting back..........
Train from Copenhagen couldn't be easier, the station is just behind Tivoli. Train only goes underground for a short while, it then joins the bridge for the rest of the journey. Well worth visiting Malmo, though bearing in mind we did go in December when the Christmas market was in full flow.

Denmark has the Kroner; Sweden has the Kronor. There are ATM's in Malmo where you can withdraw cash for coffee and lunch, or souvenirs. Wish we'd known about lund. We spent an afternoon in Malmo. It was Ok, nothing exciting, but we got to say we'd been to Sweden! One regret, i didn't buy any shoes! They have very smart shoes in Denmark and Sweden!
