Opel Corsa or Astra?

My husband and I will be renting an automatic car for a week while we visit Portugal in May. It'll just be the two of us, two 22-inch roller carry-on suitcases, and 2-3 backpacks/totes (regular sized, nothing large). Which rental car should we choose, so that we can keep our luggage in the trunk, out of sight? I tried to look up this info on the internet and I haven't been successful. Thank you for your help.

Astra has a larger trunk than Corsa, so I would go for that. You may probably just about squeeze your luggage into a Corsa, but it will be a tight fit and you want extra space to store your shopping and picnics.

The Corsa is the smaller of the 2 cars, if you want to look at the range try www.vauxhall.co.uk

Astra, definitely. Although it's still a compact car, it has more room for passengers and luggage than the Corsa and is much more comfortable.
Our German relatives recently did a "last minute" holiday deal to Spain that came with a Corsa. To say they were not fond of the car was putting it mildly.

I agree with the others. We rented an Astra twice and a Corsa once. Although still compact, the Astra is much roomier and will hold more luggage.
