Just curious: do you see "dirtybit" in the URL, bottom line of your browser, when you try to post (unsuccessfuly)?<BR>

Yes, it appears with both successful and unsuccessful posts. But the full URL is truncated. I don't know if there is more after the dirtybit=1... that might explain things.

i don't think anyone actually knows. i brought it up, and i would like to find out. presumed to have something to do with tracking usage? or who has posted on what thread with what IP?<BR>
