online access in Italy

I haven't been to Italy since the internet got hot. Are there internet cafes available? I hate to drag a laptop to upload digital photos and get online travel info. Any suggestions? I'm going in May.

I saw one place in Venice called Cafe Blue, I think. It was even free.

There are plenty of internet points in Florence, so I imagine they are available in most medium to large towns. I remember that the Blue Marlin Bar in Vernazza (Cinque Terre) even had a single computer set up in the corner, so you may even find them in smaller villages. Most do charge, but time is quite inexpensive.

I paid 8000 lira for an hour card in an internet cafe a few doors down from the Lungarno (in Florence).

Internet access is not a problem, except for the very small towns. We used internet points in Siena, Florence, Venice, Pisa, to name a few.
