one night where to stay near airport
We will arrive in Paris just to spend the night and then catch a flight out. We will be coming by train from Brussels and need help knowing where to stay. Our plane leave early the next morning any suggestions on a not too expensive convenient place?

If you will be flying out of Terminal 2 (not sure about Swiss Air), then the Ibis-Roissypole hotel is the closest in. You can walk from there to Terminal 2.
Here's a web site:

thanks ckenb - looks great. Have you stayed there yourself? I've learned to ask what is walking distance! We don't mind taking a short cab ride and really don't mind a walk (early AM with luggage it needs to be short). Just wanted to avoid the long expensive taxi ride with nerves wondering if we would be on time.

Swiss indeed flies from terminal 2b, which is NOT walking distance, but a reasonably short shuttle bus ride away.
The only walkable hotel is the Sheraton, which is very expensive however. Ibis or Novotel, the latter slightly more upscale, at Roissypôle are the only 2 moderate on-airport choices. There are many off-airport options with shuttle bus service however - the Marriott Courtyard for instance generally gets good reviews on this site.
Hope this helps,
Andre

Sorry, the first sentence should have read:
"Swiss indeed flies from terminal 2b, which is NOT walking distance, but a reasonably short shuttle bus ride away from the Ibis at Roissypôle mentioned by ckenb."
Hope this helps,
Andre

The ADP free shuttle from Roissypole (where the Ibis is located) takes less than ten minutes to get to terminal 2B. Terminal 2A is the first stop.
Leaving Terminal 2B and travelling to Roissypole on the ADP shuttle can take fifteen to twenty minutes because Roissypole is one of the last stops.
The Ibis Roissypole is fairly inexpensive (under 100 Euros per room), clean, but quite basic. Rooms with twin beds are often hard to obtain. There are some rooms with a double bed and murphy-type beds.
Warning! The hotel can be quite noisy.
You can book rooms at the Accor website.
If no rooms are available, you may want to consider the Novotel (next to the Ibis).
Last time we had an early flight from CDG, we stayed at the Radisson CDG. Our internet only rate was only 10 Euros more than the Ibis. Our room at the Radisson was huge with two regular size beds, a large bathroom, and better amenities. There is a free shuttle, operated by the Radisson. The shuttle ride took about twenty minutes from the hotel to CDG; the shuttle from CDG to the Radisson took about forty-five minutes.
