One more London question (posting from Victoria Park Plaza hotel)
Where can I buy an adapter that will fit a three-prong plug? I have adapters with me, but my laptop is a three-prong, and my adapters are all for 2 prongs 
Is there some place close by? I really need to charge my laptop. Thanks!

Why don't you ask your hotel? They usually so familiar with people without the correct adaptor, they will have a few spare.
The shops are closed now, but definitely can pop down to your local Tesco or Sainsbury's to try hunt for one.
This will be a bad time to try to contact the Londoners as most of them are out partying at this time!
