Talking about ice cream, my whole family truly enjoyed the ice cream cups they served in-flight on short-haul (we flew Geneve-London City). So much more superior than mediocre dried up sandwiches other airliners serve.

They are tiny little fish so yes technially filets I guess, but teeny so you get a pile of them. I don't remember bones. Anyone else? Served usually with a salad and either fries or a couple boiled new potatoes.

Oh yes, and the restaurants where I've had this dish, all had a regular menu so must have served other things as well. But everyone in my party always ordered the Filet de Perche.

Sometimes you get the bones, sometimes you don't. Just depends on the catch I suppose. But like someone else said, they are teeny tiny fish filets so the bones are miniscule.

And as for ticks, I lived in Nantucket, tick /Lyme / Babesiosis capital of the world before coming here and was a bit nervous about hiking here but have gone every weekend in summer since moving here nine years ago with no problems at all.
