Oggebbio-Lake Maggiore
Does anyone have any opinions on this location? I am looking a vacation rental for the fall and the house/villa is lovely but I can't get a read on the location. What is the town of Oggebbio like? Upscale? Campers? Rural? Are there any restaurants, etc? Appreciate any input. Thank you.

Google shows 4 restaurants. a caffe/bar serving food and a supermarket.
SAB,
If look at the town on Google maps and ask for "hotels" nearby, several will pop up on the map. You can look up the names of those places on TripAdvisor or Booking.com and read reviews. Many reviews are likely to include descriptions of the overall town & location.

Oggebbio is along Lake Maggiore, about 5 miles from Verbania, the capital of the province of VCO. Buses at least every hr to Verbania (and Verbania railway station), about every 2 hrs to Cannobio - Brissago - Ascona - Locarno (Switzerland).
Boats to Luino from Cannero (2-3 miles away). 1 daily hydrofoil Stresa - Oggebbio - Locarno until Sept 17th.
Many hiking trails in the area.
Many hotels and restaurants in the area close in October. Those at Verbania (Intra and Pallanza) and at Cannobio are open all the year round.
