November Itinerary (from Rome)

I am going to Rome with my boyfriend for 10 days in early November. We are trying to decide whether to travel north to Tuscany or south to Amafi... which would make for a better itinerary this time of year?

Hi MD,

With 10 days in Nov, I suggest 4 in Rome, 3 in Florence (daytrip to Siena) and 3 in Venice.

I'd also fly into Venice and out of Rome.

Agree with ira - - but I would prefer flying into Florence; then fly out of Rome or Venice. It's a bit of backtracking, but better Florence first than either of the other two, in my opinion.

Best wishes,

Rex

I agree with Ira. It is smart to do an open jaw as long as you can get a good price. Then I would start planning your next trip and go to Amalfi in the fall or spring of another year. Not in the summer.

I agree with danilo. The weather will be much nicer in the south. Up north it will wetter and much colder.
