North East Scotland- Dunes or Golf?

I voted against it. In California, this would be a huge thing. Trump would have to change his plans. Of course, that's why he's building his huge developments in Baja California, Mexico-not California, USA. He's so arrogant.
It's not just the golf course, it's all the very upscale houses that go with it, few of which will be occupied by local people, or even Scots, I'm sure. What's the residential water situation there?
Sheila, I keep reading on the Scotsman site that most people in Aberdeen support this. Is that true?

flanneruk,
In case you hadn't noticed, the "provincial executive" aka "provincial administration" is our national government which is in the process of taking all the decisions the previous eight years of government ducked.

Scotland's national government is in London.
Scotland's provincial executive can squander as much of my taxes as it likes on rebranding itself, but as long as Scotland remains a failing province it's all cobblers.
If the people of Scotland ever get the courage of some Scots' convictions and set themselves up as a proper country, things might be different.
But right now - just like for the last 300 years - you're all happier whingeing and collecting our handouts, which is why the overwhelming majority of you voted for anti-independence parties in your last provincial election. The rest of us would be delighted if you got on with it and stopped wasting our money. But the only people in Britain who want Scotland in the Union are the Scots.
