Does it have to be a triple? Tintoretto - - http://www.venere.com/it/venezia/tintoretto - - can accommodate you in that price range with a double at 295.000 and a single at 195.000 - - if that would work for you.

Best wishes,

Rex
Might work if there's the possibility of a rollaway or something. My wife and I are travelling with our 12 year old daughter. They're sort of sensitive to smoke (and I know it's certainly not totally avoidable, but we'd at least like a room to escape from it at night, hence the nonsmoking requirement. Any other suggestions?

Thanks!
Try Hotel Violino d'Oro. It's on both the Charming Venice and Venere website. Neither of their web sites state that it is a non-smoking hotel, but they told us in an e-mail that they were a non-smoking hotel. I think thee prices will work for you too. Good luck!

Dave,
Any American-sounding chain hotels in Rome will have non-smoking rooms. (Crown Plaza, Sheraton, westin, Holiday Inn, etc.) I know that may not sound too appealing, though.

Some others in Rome you might want to look into are the the Dei Consoli Hotel, D'Inghilterra Hotel, the Hotel de Russie, the Hotel Diana, The Inn at The Spanish Steps, & the Hotel Londra&Cargill. The entire Hotel Artistes is non-smoking, but for my personal taste, it's a tad close to the train station.
Best Wishes,
BC
