No tix for Florence museums?

Heading to Florence July 6-10. Based on what I'm seeing at the Accademia and Uffizi websites, there are no tickets available. What's my next option for getting into these museums?

Tickets can be booked in advance at
http://www.b-ticket.com/b-ticket/Uffizi/default.aspx
While you don't need to book a timed ticket in advance, at most times of the year, it avoids having to queue (sometimes for hours). Some hotels can order tickets for you. For Uffizi there are no tickets available for online sale for your dates. Call telephone booking centre +39 (0)55 294883 which is open from Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6.30pm and on Saturdays from 8.30 to 12.30 (local Italian time).
, which has greater availability of tickets, including for entry before noon.

We were in Florence 2 weeks ago without reserved tickets to either and found the lines to be tolerable late in the afternoon. One day we spent about ten minutes in line for the Uffizi, the next about a half hour for the Accademia. I wouldn't sweat it, you will get in regardless.

Hi L,

Go early, before the tour buses arrive at about 09:30, or after they have left (about 16:30).

I've been to those museums twice and just went right when they opened. It was easy to get in early. You might wait a bit, but nothing compared to weekends in the middle of the day.

Definitely call the number that Alec gives. The website showed sold out for the date I wanted 7/14 but I was able to pretty much get the times I wanted on that date by calling. They will give you a confirmation number for each museum and you pay in cash when you arrive.
