I've been following this thread, wishing that I could join everyone at the GTG this afternoon.....but darn, I have to work on Saturdays.
So I wish everyone a great time and a safe journey to and from Weehawken. Someone please have a glass of wine for me. Peace.

Here's one little slice of the GTG, for anyone interested:
As you may know, the GTG had a Hawaiian theme. Many of us wore shirts and blouses with bold floral prints, and several wore genuine Hawaiian shirts. Budman and TPatricco wore grass skirts.
Now picture this: We were in a tiny store-front restaurant, normally closed at lunchtime, and we filled up the entire dining room. The weather was perfect, so the front door was wide open. The neighborhood street scene was our "show," while we were obviously an odd little attraction for passing neighborhood kids.
Our most enthusiastic audience was a group of little neighborhood girls, all well under age 9, who were fascinated by this group of merry grownups with the funny clothes. One little girl who had apparently missed the "best part" came up to the door and asked to see “the man with the skirt.” Budman, who’d removed the scratchy skirt covering his shorts, gladly put it back on to please the giggling tyke.
We had leftover leis, so each of the little girls got one. The sturdy little boy with them made a disgusted face and refused to accept one of these girlie things. The girls posed for us, and we took photos of them grinning, with their flowery necklaces. Jersey squatted down behind the little group and mugged along with them. A little later, all giggles and smiles and waves, they passed by again with a new (to us) little pigtailed cutie who didn’t have a lei like the others. Indytravel chased after them and gave the new kid a lei, too. When we left, we were imagining all these parents scratching their heads and wondering why their daughters had returned home with leis around their necks.

Great write up cmt. I'm working on the report! It's work to go through so many pics, pick the best & edit them into something representative of the great time we all had yesterday!
Plus, I had to go to my inlaws this morning...which ate up a big chunk of the day.
Report & pics should be up in about 30 mins!
