In early September my husband and I will be staying in Argegno, a small village across the lake from Bellagio. We will have a car, and plan to explore the nearby (and not so nearby) villages - will drive some days, take the ferry others. This is our first time to visit Lake Como - would love to hear any ideas for places to see, restaurants, hiking or other activities. We'd be willing to do one longer trip - maybe an overnight - if there is something not to be missed. Thanks.

(We'll be coming from Milan, and then heading south to Bologna and Venice for the next two weeks)
