Night illumination Florence & Rome?

Would the major sightseeing attractions of Florence & Rome be illuminated at night in February?

ROME:

The Coloseum and the Forum are illuminated, as is the Victor Emmanual Monument in Piazza Venezia.

St. Peter's is somewhat illuminated, not as brightly as the monuments above.

Circus Maximus and Theatre or Marcellus are not illuminated.
