Hi there
We will also be driving from Milan to Genoa in October of this year en route to the Cinque Terre and found the comments above every interesting and informative.
Please advise if we should rather drive down to Cinque Terre or do it by train as the trains virtually rides through all those towns and parking is a nightmare.
