Nice, here we come!

We're off on Tuesday via Dallas and Heathrow. Please think good thoughts about our luggage! The weather forecast looks pretty good; we're hoping to take our usual good weather with us.

The trip should be comfortable, as we were able to get business-class tickets with FF miles on a 777. We haven't flown one of those in years, but I remember the map at the front of the cabin and how we enjoyed watching the movement of the little plane.

Now if I could just bring back that olive oil from Alziari...!

Have a nice trip!

> The weather forecast looks pretty good.

Don't mean to be negative but as above poster living in Nice says, a online forecast I'm looking at is not that optimistic, rather more of clound and rain. Bring some precaution (i'm sure you will) and hope for the best.

I was in Nice this weekend. Saturday morning very sunny then got cloudier, rainny for the rest of the day. Sunday am, again sun and blue sky though brief, then it rained a lot on and off all day. (I enjoyed Marc Chagall Museum while it eas pouring rain out side). I'm sure you will have better weather than that at least.

We usually--knock on wood--bring good weather with us. With luck that will mean rain at home, which we badly need.

We were in Nice in September and I can't stop thinking of ways to get back there! Just last night I wrapped the xmas perfume I bought my daughter in Grasse. Wishing you sunny skies.

Skies were sunny for us except for 2-1/2 days of pouring rain, all, fortunately, after we moved from Nice to our B&B in the hills east of Grasse. More on that later.

See "Was It Nice in Nice in December 2008?" and "There and Back Again," which covers our last day in Nice and first in Grasse.
