Nice Airport Transportation

I was looking for the most convenient/cost-efficient way to get from the Nice Airport to my hotel on the Promenade des Anglais? Any tips or ideas?

Much will depend on the time of day of your arrival- it is easy and cheap to take the bus. However, my outgoing flight back to the US from Nice's airport was so early in the morning I had to take a taxi from my hotel on the Promenade and it was 40 euro- last summer.

Taxis are the most convenient, but obviously pricier than the bus. The ride is short from the airport to the Promenade des Anglais, only about 15 minutes.

That's € 4 and the ticket is actually a day ticket that's good for all the tram/bus lines for the day. Bus lines are not only limited to Nice city. With €4 ticket you can take bus e.g. to Eze or Ville-Franche-sur-Mer or even farther. When you get into town from the airport, you have no choice but buy that €4 ticket. Elsewhere, you can buy, depending on your need, a single ticket for €1.30. With that still you can take a bus to out-of-the-city destinations. Very cheap.
