Traveller,
Your soap with the black and red wrapping "Maja" is made by Myrurgia (maker of myrrh). I would too search at Marshalls, (Thanks for the great tip JOdy-I've just never thought to look at it at mine). if you have one nearby, the price will be much cheaper, or you can purchase through www.tienda.com, where a 3 bar box goes for $12.75.
You can also order Maja (3 bars for a very expensive $16!) from "The Spanish Table" in Seattle, a wonderful resource for a myriad of Spanish products, including soaps, bath gels, saffron, every type of food product imaginable, paella pans, cookbooks, ceramics, earthenware "cazuelas", CDs, maps, flags, travel guides-the list goes on and on and on...I was there last weekend and was truly amazed by the vast quanity of Spanish products the owner, Steve Winston manages to bring in to his store. I did too much damage to my poor credit card but could have stayed for hours! It's a one stop source (although a pricey one) for everything wonderful that Spain exports, if there are other items you miss from Espaņa.
Check www.tablespan.com

Hmm... It's nice to know that I'm not the only Maja junkie around..
I have found Maja at Long's drug stores from time to time...if you don't see it, ask the buyer? I've done this successfully a couple of times but it's not exactly a hot-seller here so I have to remind them. It IS expensive but because it's hard-milled it lasts a long time..
*sigh* brings back great memories of the year I lived there, which, my children continually remind me, was around the time that the cave paintings were still drying...
=)
