I'm riddled with typos!

Hotel Savoy is where we are staying in Moscow and Grand Hotel Europe in St P and I meant Copenhagen, not Cpenhagen.
Its' Russia, not Rssia!

Oy! Hump day bad typing!

Oh how I love following your trips, tripgirl. I actually went to college with the founder of ExeterInternational, but we were really only peripheral acquaintances - now I wish we'd kept in touch!

Where is your next group trip? Have you made it to any of the DC GTG's yet?

Happy travels!

Hi: I have been following your thread and wondering if you have web addresses for the Stockholm and Copenhagen hotels?
We are flying to Moscow in May. How will you get from Copenhagen to ST Petersberg.?Wehave 3 weeks. I have been to Estonia. How far is Helsinki from Copenhagen and how are you getting there? Many thanks for the information.
We are using FF miles so we need to fly in and out of Moscow so I want to do a circle. Thanks.Johanna

Hello:

Here is the web site for both hotels.

We are flying from Copenhagen to stockholm and then stockholm to Helsinki all on SAS airlines. From Helsinki to Moscow also on SAS. From Moscow to St Petersburg we are on Aeroflot.

Websites:
Hotel Front in copenhagen

http://www.front.dk/

Hotel Rival in Stockholm

Good luck!

You are crazy if if you have not seen the Fjords in Bergen Flam OSlo region in Norway and not planning to go there now, in spite of being so close.
Oslo Bergen is the most scenic rail ride in the world. Bergen Falm area; especially Hotel Stalheim, where Germay's Kaiser William 2 used to come evry summer for more than 40 years just for the view and tranquility. If time is no problem, plan Bergen. If it is, drop one of the cities. Also try to squeeze in Suzdal's fairy tale landscape near Moscow. Sounds like "I have been there, seen all", kind. NO. I am just planning a trip like you, to Russia and Scandinavia in May 07. The study shows that St. Petersburg and Bergen area are the highlights of the tour and give you different experiences of cities and countryside. I believe that the true character of the country or the region is in the country side.
Off course, these are just my views. You may choose to disagree.
