Need Input on Itinerary

My suggestion would be to push through to Madrid on your arrival day so you don't waste time settling in in Barcelona only to pack up again and move on the next day. Perhaps you can get a connecting flight to Madrid the same day.>>
mine too. Breaking up a stay in a place is nearly always a bad idea IME. Put all your time in your exit city together at the end of your trip and use the dead time at the beginning when you are recovering from jet lag to travel onwards.
or do an open jaw flight.
Personally I loved Valencia and would have liked longer than our 4 nights there but it's not that dissimilar to Barcelona and with the time you've got I would prefer to see only 3 places thoroughly; I might opt for Madrid, Lisbon and Barcelona.

Agree, either go straight through to Madrid or fly multi-city - into Barcelona and out of Lisbon. Backtracking wastes time and momey.
In Barcelona I prefer to stay in the Eixample area, much nicer, and more convenient for the Gaudi sites.
Not street food, but in Lisbon don't miss the wonderful chicken at the very non- fancy Bom Jardim. Also, don't miss the Gulbenkian, or the stunning monastery in Belem.
