Need hotel in Bilbao ,budget about 100e. Do you know Hotel Barcelo Nervion?

We're staying in Bilbao for 3 nights in the fall & want to budget about 100e or less if possible. Saw Hotel Barcelo on a web site & it looks nice. Wondering if this is an good area to stay. Looks like it's near the Ayuntameinto. Is this City Hall? If so, we thought the area may be deserted at night. Do you know if there are restaurants etc. in the area? There's one offer here for room with breakfast & for 10e more, B&B ticket to Guggenheim. No idea if that means breakfast at the hotel & a ticket or a ticket & breakfast at the Guggenheim. A bit confussing. Also says it's a "10 minute stroll to Guggenheim & 10 minutes to old city. We want to take one of our days & take the bus to San Sebastion for the day so won't even be in town for one whole day.
Any hotel recommendations? We certainly don't need 'night life' but want a populated area.

Thanks for your input. The Carlton lists 188e & the Barcelo Nirvion is about 75. Quite a difference.

Anyone have any info. on the area of Nirvion or their e mail so I can write to them?

Last January I stayed at Petit Palace Arana, right at the old town(where all the restaurants, shops are),across the Theatre, 10 minutes walk to Guggenheim,1/2 minute to the tram stop for the bus terminal. The hotel is recently renovated historical building, quite lovely.

I booked through www.laterooms.com for about 65 Euro.

Travelegs, it's gone up in price since we were there, sorry. But keep tossing this for later posters.

Still would like to get the e mail address of the hotel. Anyone know how to do that?
Hasn't anyone here stayed at the Barcelo Nervion & have information on the area?
Also still would like to know what B&B ticket to the Guggenheim means. Perhaps they meant breakfast & a ticket. Do you think that means a ticket for BOTH people?

The hotel is the largest in Basque country about 348 rooms and it's next to city hall and only a few blocks from the Guggenheim (at the most)

Thank you!
Since it's next to City Hall, do you think that it would be a deserted area at night? And, would there be some resaurants/cafes ,some places to grab a quick breakfast or evening snack in the area?
Still trying to get a direct e mail to the hotel & not one from a booking agency.

Our hotel was in the financial district so it was very quiet but we did not feel unsafe on the street. Your hotel is minites away in a livlier location and closer to the old part of town as I recall. Try google to Email if you don't have it.
