Need help w/ restaurants in London

Going to London the beginning of March - staying in Mayfair for 4 nights - need help w/ restaurants - we can take a taxi anywhere - we like italian, seafood, steak, pub food. Looking for great food, not too stuffy atmosphere - we are willing to spend anything for a good meal. Any suggestions??

I'd recommend Browns in Covent Garden. I love their steak & guinness pie.

RonZ, we were at Luigis last week and while the food was good, our waiter was the rudest I have ever had...can not recommend it because of him.

We had a fantastic Italian meal at Olivo, Eccleston St (Victoria); not at all stuffy!.
I also like Boxwood Cafe, in Knightsbridge. It's a Gordon Ramsey restaurant, but not one of his Michelin-starred ones. It's in the Berkeley Hotel.

Had excellent food/service at both the Capital in Basil Street and Simpsons on Strand. Capital is French/Michelin 2 Star - pricey but the best! Simpsons more traditional, but top quality food/service. You won't be disappointed.
