Which rail is best to use traveling from Paris to venice? Do we booked before we leave USA or does it not matter? Does anyone perhaps know the cost round trip?

Went to trenitalia/fs site but couldn't seem to find prices, and it seems, Eurostar is the name, now where do you find the station for it in Paris? HELP

The day trains (change at Milan) leave from Gare de Lyon and cost about 112.5 Euros one way 2d class. The night train leaves from Gare de Bercy and costs 102.7 Euros one way for a 2d-class couchette. Try the French Rail site, www.sncf.com (but it's not easy to navigate).

Hi Lorraine, France as far as I know is one of teh few if not the only country that will sell you a ticket without any surcharge if you call by phone from the US and pay with Visa .<BR>I am not home now but I got the phone number from the French railway www.<BR>They will make all the discounts you might be entitled too.
