Need help tonight SNCF cancelled

I am in London tonight and will take the Eurostar to Paris in the morning. I have tickets for the 1214 from montparnasse to Rennes. I just checked and it has been cancelled. I tried to change my train on the SNCF app and it won’t allow me to rebook online. Do I just have to wait til I get to Paris tomorrow? Is that the best I can do? I’m pretty frustrated. Thanks for any help you may have

I feel your pain having gone through something similar a few years ago. I think your choice is to go to Paris and try to get on the next train. Not all services are canceled. You could also rent a car. Do not know anything about buses in France but I suppose they are an option.

If I were you I would go to Paris and get on the next train.I wouldn't bother standing in any lines to change tickets or anything, just play dumb. DO check to see if there are ways of getting to Rennes that are not your direct (it seems) reservation. There is almost always a way to get anywhere in France. Check the SNCF website from time to time, but otherwise, go to Montparnasse and ask SNCF personnel what to do. I would not stand in those interminable lines for service at Montparnasse, but nab SNCF people as you encounter them at the station. Be compulsive and feign innocence and Angst.

OP took trains May 29. But good info for others in this never-ending potential strikes. My son's mama is coming June 10th and usually takes train Les Aubrias-Orleans to Paris and metro/RER to CDG but she booked a van instead just in case. Feel sorry for folks who depend on a train on a certain day as so many tourists do.
