Need help to find things to see on the slow.
My wife and I will be staying for two wks in Luxembourg.(5th-18th of May)
We were stationed just a few K's down the road in Germany, w/ the goverment in the 60's.
We've been back to Germany many times since, but mostly with tours or by ourselfs.
Day trips seems best from our hotel. Thank You for any help.

Hi grams,
In addition to JN's advice, I would like to suggest that you re-post and mention your destination in your title (to attract posters who know those areas).
Also, it would be helpful to know if you were planning to use the trains or rent a car.
Good luck!

In addition to the above advice, I'd check out www.slowtrav.com, who specialize in 'slow' travel

One of the things I had tucked away when we went to Luxembourg was one of those two day driving itineraries from Travel and Leisure of a loop within Luxembourg taking in some 10 or 12 castles. But then we both got a touch of food poisoning (or was it flu?) while there and we abandoned the driving project. I'd still like to do that. Not sure where you pick up the actual itineray this was, but as I recall it seemed pretty basic -- how many circular loops can you drive in Luxembourg?
